Introducing electronic conveyancing.
Let’s break it down.
Conveyancing is the process of transferring ownership of a property from one person to another.
the preparation, verification and lodgement of legal documents,
conducting searches on the title of the property and
arranging settlement/disbursement of funds
The process itself will stay the same however, the way documents are prepared and lodged is changing. Electronic conveyancing removes the paperwork and allows us to lodge documents and carry out settlements digitally.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
What it means is less time manually filling in paperwork – happy dance. It also means the process will be faster and more convenient for everyone involved.
In fact, Strategic Property Conveyancing has already carried out more than 65 electronic settlements via PEXA (Property Exchange Australia).
PEXA is Australia’s online property exchange network. It was formed in 2010 by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) to bring the property industry and conveyancing into the 21st century.
We use PEXA to liaise with your bank, lodge documents and even transfer funds.
Thanks to PEXA payments are made electronically instead of with bank cheques, documents are automatically checked online and lodged instantly all of which will make the settlement process easier and quicker.

Strategic Property Conveyancing has e-mbraced e-conveyancing and is excited about the changes this will mean for the industry.
We have already completed a large number of settlements via PEXA and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the process.
